Problem: When Northeastern polled students and faculty about their main .edu website, common critical themes became clear: usability was poor and the University’s digital presence didn’t accurately represent their brand. Though Northeastern’s popularity and reputation had never been better, the University needed a website ecosystem that matched their community’s acclaim.
The major roadblock? Timing. Our team was faced with an incredibly tight deadline, turning a big, complicated project into a near-impossible task.
Solution: Utilizing existing research, our team came up with a plan of action, breaking up the project into phases. The first couple of phases included the homepage, navigation, high-level landing pages, and the University leadership section.
